Brian Copeland & Greg Bullard (Nashville Gay Parents Group Founders and Co-Organizers)

gay-fathers-dad-tennessee-nashville-Once Brian and Greg brought Micah home after his birth, they searched for other families like theirs throughout the area.  Finding none, they decided to start one.  Within a few months, the group had grown to over 50 families and now countless families find community here.

Lisa and Wendy Howe are the co-organizing team. They first met Brian & Greg through the MeetUp group. Their daughter Hope and Micah are dear friends thanks to the connection.

Brian serves on the national board of The American Fertility Association (AFA).  Locally, he’s on the board of the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS, Hands On Nashville and the Tennessee Equality Project Foundation.  He is the Chief Engagement Officer at Village Real Estate Services.

Greg is the founder and pastor of Covenant of the Cross church in Nashville, an affirming Christian, non-denominational congregation of 200+.   Greg serves or has served on the board for Nashville Pride and Nashville’s Interfaith Council.  He’s a columnist for a local LGBT newspaper and is a champion for hunger and food security for Middle Tennessee LGBT families, coordinating the only LGBT-oriented food bank in the area.
